Allen Leech behind the scenes of In Fear. Taken from the DVD and cut and uploaded by the wonderful outhere85 for me. It took a bit of getting uploaded because it’s about 20 minutes long but enjoy!

Original article from the “oh-oh” quote I just posted.

31 October 2013
Irish Daily Mail
DOWNTON Abbey star Allen Leech has told how the show’s makers have to ensure his on-screen daughter doesn’t give away her 21st century upbringing during their scenes together.

The Dublin actor, who is now one of the drama’s biggest stars, has told of his affection for two-year-old Ava Mann who plays his daughter, Sybil.

But he said a slip of her tongue could scupper a scene.

He said: ‘It’s tricky to stop her from saying modern things like “Oh-oh” and “Hi” during scenes which people obviously wouldn’t have said back then.’ He added: ‘Ava, who plays Tom Branson’s daughter, and I became great pals - she’s a lovely, lovely girl.’

In an interview with the TV Times, he revealed that the little girl wasn’t always completely ready for the cameras when they were filming at Highclere Castle.

'I'd say to her, “We're doing acting time now, Ava”, and she'd reply “No, It's play time.” But what do you expect? She's only two.' But despite being charmed by the toddler on the set, the 32-year-old Dubliner said he wasn't tempted to have a child of his own.

'Working with kids is never going to make you feel broody,' he joked. 'At the end of a scene I love being able to go, “That's great Ava - here's your mother”.'
